Both commercial arbitration and investor-state cases continue to regularly engage the practitioners in Clifford Chance‘s disputes team, which acts for a mix of international companies, as well as several countries. The German offices have become a core hub for arbitration proceedings within the firm’s European network. Michael Kremer leads the dispute resolution practice and is well versed in arbitration under various international rules. Moritz Keller is the lead contact for international arbitration, while Jan Conrady is a contact to note for matters relating to plant construction and infrastructure. Paul Hauser’s broad practice includes expertise in post-M&A arbitrations, and Stefan Lohn and Sarah Lemoine are the names to note below partner level. Alexandra Diehl, whose practice focuses on the representation of states in investment arbitration proceedings, joined the group from White & Case LLP in October 2025.
