CMS supports entrepreneurial families, wealthy private individuals and family offices in corporate succession as well as the management and transfer of assets, including succession planning, execution of wills and place of residence matters; in the latter area, clients benefit from the practice's cross-location approach. The team is also experienced in the structuring of non-profit foundations and contentious issues such as inheritance and shareholder disputes. Dirk Schauer (national and international asset and corporate succession as well as foundation law) heads the practice; Jasper Philippi (inheritance and foundation law) joined the partner roster in January 2024.
