Noerr focuses its tax advisory services on corporate and fund tax law, transactional support and tax disputes, while also being experienced in transfer pricing and audit support. In this regard, it advises groups, companies, investment funds and wealthy private individuals, with the latter also regularly drawing on the team's expertise in corporate and asset succession. This is complemented by skills in related corporate, banking and capital market issues, which benefits from its cross-practice cooperation. The team is led by Carsten Heinz and Georg Edelmann; while Heinz excels in supporting group reorganisations and family businesses in special tax situations, Edelmann is particularly well versed in transactional matters and advising companies in crisis situations. In August 2024, Tim Löper (transactional tax law, international tax law) joined as an associated partner from Kirkland & Ellis International LLP.
